Clarity Counseling Connections

Programs for All Who Seek Help

We work to provide professional counseling for all that seek it regardless of ability to pay.  We work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to problem solve and uncover new areas of positive engagement.

Did you know? We have NO FUNDING outside of you and our working clinicians that donate back 30% of their own income.

We are a team of professionals that are as diverse as the population we serve.

We unite under core values.  We all subscribe to the same values: 1) To love our clients as if our own family 2) To meet our clients where they are and to honor the goals they set 3) To respect individual free will and choice; believing that you are the master of your own life 4) To honor the rich complexity of the human experience and therefor work with all aspects of mind, body, and soul as it interacts in your mental wellbeing and block to achieve goals.

We understand that being able to relate to each other is an important part of the counseling relationship.  We encourage you to read our individual biographies and choose a counselor that resonates with you personally.

Stephanie Sternes

Clinical Director

Training Supervisor

LMFT-8009

LCPC - 7165

I completed my studies in Marriage and Family Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University. I have worked as a resource specialist, teacher, and small claims mediator. I am a wife,  mother and a step mom. I have 4 children ages 24 to 39 and 2 bonus children ages 13 and 17.  I am married to my best friend.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to problem solve and uncover new areas of positive engagement. Sometimes people get stuck in what they are doing. We tend to do the same things looking for different results.

I enjoy working with people to help them clarify their goals and move forward with plans to help achieve what they are after.

I have a particular interest in helping people regain relationships. With couples it is incorporating the past and the future. Today's families are complicated; navigating step families, parent child, couple's and in-law relationships are not things they teach us in school. Knowledgeable support can be key.

My approach to counseling is through power of choice and a realistic look at strengths and options. I believe that you are the expert of your own life and with clarity more options are available to you. Through Brainspotting I can assist you in healing your own brain.

Jessica Ayers

Clinical Opperations Manager

LPC-9312

I completed my studies in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in trauma, loss and grief at Northwest Nazarene University. My undergraduate studies are in developmental and behavioral psychology. I am a lifelong learner and find so much passion in consistently growing as an individual, partner, and mother. When I am not in the counseling setting I can be found in nature riding my dirt bikes, paddleboarding, and camping with my amazing 3 kids.

While completing my graduate studies, I found myself being drawn to incorporating a mind, body and spirit approach in counseling which has become the foundation of my counseling practice. I love working with couples and individuals seeking to strengthen their relationships through attachment theories and growing through their past traumas. I firmly believe in meeting clients where they are and supporting their unique journey through a strength based approach.

Wendi Densley of                               Wendi Densley Counseling, LLC

LPC-7643

NCC-1230350

I completed my Master’s degree in School Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy and Grief & Trauma Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in December of 2019. I have worked as an elementary education teacher, youth pastor, and most recently a school counselor. I am a wife and mother of 2 sons. I’ve lived in Idaho for most of life, minus a two year stint where my husband and I called Texas home.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I specifically love using play therapy to help adolescents and children express themselves in ways beyond just using words. Beyond play therapy, I place high significance in meeting individuals, couples, families where they are at. My role as a counselor is to equip people to successfully accomplish their goals, whatever those may be.
